Roger provides outpatient counseling to couples, adults, and teens. He specializes in emotion focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, marital counseling, and inner healing. He has extensive knowledge and experience providing support and assistance for those who have lived through childhood abuse, death of a spouse, single parenthood, blended families, and various other presenting issues.
In addition, Roger holds certificates in Pastoral Crisis Intervention and First Response.
Rene is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the staff at FRCC in 2006. Rene received her masters degree from Temple University and her undergraduate degree from Liberty University.
Prior to her experience at FRCC, Rene worked in the nonprofit, education, and medical fields. She has worked with children, teens, college students, women, and families. Rene utilizes cognitive behavioral approaches as well as bibliotherapy, person centered, and play therapies in her work. Some areas of interest for Rene include adoption, grief, anxiety, sexual abuse recovery, divorce recovery, teen issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment issues, post traumatic stress disorder, family/parenting issues, boundaries, and wellness.
Rene is able to provide traditional and faith based services to guests who wish to utilize insurance as she is listed on many insurance boards and employee assistance plans (EAPs.) Rene is a board certified Christian Counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors. Rene also enjoys interacting with the community by presenting workshops for FRCC. In her free time, Rene enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, sewing, and listening to music.
