leadership

"God gave leaders to be a gift to the church, teaching and instructing them with all their energy so that they would become more like Jesus" (Eph. 4:10; Col. 1:28-29). Being a leader in the church is a high calling. The Apostle Paul summed up why when he wrote: 'imitate me, for I imitate Jesus' (1 Cor. 11:1). Biblically there are two kinds of leaders: elders and deacons. The required qualifications for elder are found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 2; the requirements for deacons are found in 1 Timothy 3.  We are held accountable to God and his word by belonging to a larger family of churches, the Presbyterian Church of America.

Below are the pastors (teaching elders) of Stillwaters Presbyterian Church.
